LESSON #764

Sorry for the quietness of the blog lately.

I was in a car accident late Saturday night. Completely my fault, making the feeling of guilt countless times heavier, especially knowing that others could have gotten very hurt, if not worse, as a result of my mistake. Something like this isn't justifiable, no matter how many times people tell you that accidents happen, we all make mitstakes etc etc. It wouldn't have happened if I was paying more attention, and now the long process of picking up the pieces begins.

AUTUMN

Autumn has snuck up on me (as well as a weather forecast of constant rain for the next month) but at least the thought of long mornings in cafes and hot cross buns makes the thought slightly more bearable. I'm a warm weather person.

NEGATIVE

The feeling of relief that washed over me when taking the developed film out of the processing tank after adding, agitating and rinsing chemicals meticuolously according to the chart in the darkroom. The novelty hasn't worn off yet (as I'm sure it has for some of you) and I'm looking forward to finally processing the photographs in the next week.
